Massages
During our retreats, we offer craniosacral therapy and full-body, neck and shoulder, or foot oil massages.
Craniosacral therapy is an alternative treatment named after the craniosacral system of the human body. Through gentle touch, it calls upon the body's self-healing capabilities. You remain clothed during the session. Craniosacral therapy originated from osteopathy. The skull and sacrum together form a unit with the brain and spinal cord membranes (connective tissue). Inside this unit, there is cerebrospinal fluid. Connective tissue is also present throughout the rest of our body, serving as an elastic web that connects everything. Every nerve, organ, and blood vessel is lined with connective tissue, acting as a binding element in our body. It protects, provides support, and keeps all components together while keeping them separate. It's crucial that connective tissue can move along with our movements, such as walking, sitting, exercising, working, and even breathing. Where connective tissue can no longer move adequately, problems can arise sooner or later.
